Ghana Tourist Guides is a small business and the guides depend on this work for their livelihood.
1. We charge a small fee for researching your requirements in advance and we then notify you of the fee once the work is completed for you - we visit the accommodation and check its availability and standards. We rely on you not asking us to undertake research if you do not intend to pay us the small fee. The guide can usually tell you in advance what the fee is likely to be and also what his commission percentage will be if you use his services during your actual visit. Whether you decide to visit Ghana or not, please pay the fee via Western Union to the guide who has worked for you.
The link to your country's Western Union system is at

2. If you decide to use our guide during your visit, you will know the approximate cost of all your transport, your accommodation and the visits you wish to undertake, and we ask you to pay commission to the guide for his help while you are here in Ghana. You do NOT pay the commission in advance. We are sure you will be delighted with your guide and ask you to pay him his commission at the end of each day.
3. It is possible to extend your requirements during your visit and you can discuss this at the time. However, if your guide is committed to another visitor during your added period, we will provide another guide for you. This is a promise to you that your advance requirements will be fulfilled by your own guide.
4. We can occasionally help tourists who call us for immediate help while they are already in Ghana. But this is an uncertain method of booking and it is always better to book our services in advance by email so you avoid disappointment.
