Ghana Tourist Guides

Hello and welcome.

Reliable and honest guides - We are a small company of tourist guides providing you with a reliable guide for your visit to Ghana. Our guide can provide all the tourist information you need, and guide you at your side for a few hours, a day or two, even or a week or more.  We can help you to enjoy a visit which is free from wasted time and frustration, whether you are on holiday or on a business trip to Ghana.

Ghana is an exotic country, full of colour and vitality. Its people are some of the most friendly people on earth. They are also quite unrestrained in their greetings and comments.

Much of the country is rain-forest, the climate is hot and rains can arrive suddenly at any time, especially in the afternoon or evening. And everywhere, people are buzzing, working the streets, making a few cedis a day (the Ghana cedi is a stable currency) by selling to customers, including tourists. Let's prepare you well and guide you through a typical african system so that you enjoy it fully and return time after time.

Ghana is a law-abiding country but visitors need guidance and protection in the different conditions all around you. Everything can be strange, transport can be confusing, and accommodation varying enormously in price and you might prefer budget accommodation this year. While you are in Ghana you will want to visit all the places which interest you. And you will need help with reservations of all kinds if you do not have a family in Ghana.  So here we are, waiting to help you in any way we can, with our trusted travel guides - to whom we will introduce you on our pages..

Visiting places of interest will make your stay memorable - do bring your camera or video to record those special places and moments.  Your interests might include - historical, cultural, horticultural, visual, gastronomical. Do you have have others? Ask us to research your own interests for you. We have tried to make this site interactive so you can reply to us about your own requirements.

The peaceful Ghana we love - palms, pole-trees, gardens, tree-covered hills, an increasing number of good roads. You will be surprised by the number of new road carriageways which are being built, the new intersections and fly-overs. Ghana really is moving forward.

Drainage gutters are everywhere, they have to be, along every road, passing each garden, because the rains can be quite torrential and without gutters there would be much land-erosion. In some districts there are still many pot-holes which transport struggles to avoid. Cars here are all imported but there is a promise of Ghana's own car soon. That we must see!
